Free Travel Facility in UPSRTC Buses
Distinguished Citizen
Free travel facility is admissible to distinguished citizens in UPSRTC buses which is reimbursed by respective departments of the Government.

Soldiers and Police Personnel awarded with Gallantry Awards
Police Personnel and Soldiers felicitated with Gallantry Award and natives of Uttar Pradesh are allowed for free travel facility within the state in UPSRTC buses. Gallantry award holders are allowed for travel facility on the basis of "Pass" issued by the UPSRTC Headquarters. In this travel facility, only Corporation fare is being waived off, Additional Taxes etc. have to be paid by the concerned passenger as per the rules.

In continuation of the above, the following formalities should be completed -
- Copy of the award certificate received.
- Attested complete photo copies of the notifications (notification list).
- Domicile certificate of Sub-District Magistrate/District Magistrate. (Current Year/Original)
- Two passport size photographs (in uniform)
- Copy of Aadhar Card.
- Bring along the original copy of the award certificate received.
- Service Certificate (Original)
- Army order certified.
Note:- All photocopies (in original) must be certified by the competent authority of your department.
Person with Disabilities
1. Persons holding certificate of 40 percent or more disability issued by the Chief Medical Officer/Competent Medical Officer in one or more of the categories of Disabilities as defined under the Section 2 of Persons with Disabilities Act-1995, will be allowed for free bus travel facility in the ordinary buses of UPSRTC till the final destination of the buses, whether it is within the state borders or outside the state borders.
2. If a disabled person is suffering from severe disability i.e., 80 percent or more disability, as per the Disability Certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer then a Fellow Passenger with that Disabled Person is allowed to travel free of cost as a co-passenger.
3. Person with Disabilities has to show his/her original copies of Aadhaar Card and Disability Certificate issued by CMO or Authorized Medical Officer/UDID issued by Government of India, to the Officer/Employee of the UPSRTC and can avail free travelling.

Monthly Pass Scheme
Monthly pass scheme is applicable in the UPSRTC for the convenience of daily commuters. Under this scheme, “Monthly Passes” are issued for 60 single trips (two trips in a day) in a month at the fare of 36 single trips (at the fare of normal service). These passes are issued on fixed routes up to a limit of 100 KMs in general services.
Monthly Pass for Students
For the convenience of daily commuter students (age limit less than 21 years and on the basis of certificate of educational institution), student monthly pass scheme is applicable in UPSRTC. Under this scheme, “Monthly Passes” are issued for 60 single trips (two trips in a day) in a month at the fare of 25 single trips (at the fare of normal service). These passes are issued on fixed routes up to a limit of 60 KMs in ordinary services.
